Audimax-Buffet
Since 2012, the Audimax buffet has catered to the culinary needs of students and staff in one of the most frequented areas of the University of Vienna. In addition to a wide variety of drinks and snacks, hot meals are also on the menu. Moreover, the seating area offers room for conversations.

Monday to Friday: 7:00 to 20:00
Saturday: 7:00 to 16:30

Café in the Arcaded Courtyard
The café in the Arcaded Courtyard, with its pleasant coffee house atmosphere, offers room for relaxing, networking or working. The menu includes affordable snacks and drinks, such as an espresso for EUR 1. Seating is available in the Arcaded Courtyard itself or in the roofed arcades.

Self-Service-Zone in Hof 8

The roofing of Hof (court) 8 next to the Audimax turned a previously unused space into a spacious communication zone – without obligations to buy anything.
On October 4, 2023, the cube previously known as "Suppenbar" was converted into a self-service zone. The handover was carried out by the RRM-management (Ing. Bernd Stampfl, MSc) to the ÖH representative (Nora Hasan).
This step is the result of intensive discussions with the study department representatives, which focused on the needs of the students, especially with regard to contemporary student areas.
The students expressed their desire for a modern student space that not only has working and free Wi-Fi, power sockets and seating, but also offers the opportunity to heat up the food you have brought with you on site. This need was identified as a meaningful contribution to a contemporary study environment.
The newly created area should not only serve as a social meeting place, but also provide space for individual learning settings. The option to enjoy home-cooked food on site is considered an essential part of this initiative.
The seating area is open during the regular opening hours (in German).
