Late registration
For the academic year 2024/25, the University of Vienna has received fewer applications for the bachelor programme in Economics than there are places available.
A late registration is possible if you:
- have completed the registration for the 2024/25 admission procedure for a bachelor programme in the field of economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business or the University of Klagenfurt AND
- have a confirmation of registration for the admission procedure AND
- fulfil all requirements for admission to a bachelor/diploma programme.
Only if you fulfil ALL of these requirements you can still be admitted to the bachelor programme in Economics in the academic year 2024/25.
- The late registration period for the academic year 2024/25 begins on 12 June 2024 and ends when all places have been filled but no later than 31 March 2025.
Procedure for the late registration
Step 1: Create your u:account
Create your u:account in u:space within the application period. Make sure you remember the login data, because you will need the u:account during your studies. Log in to u:space and complete the registration.
Step 2: Submit your application via the Servicedesk
Late registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Scan the following documents and merge them into one PDF file. Send them to us via the Servicedesk during the late registration period:
- your registration confirmation from another Austrian university for the 2024/25 admission procedure in a corresponding bachelor programme
- all pages (!) of your secondary-school leaving certificate, if necessary legalised and translated (depending on the issuing country of your secondary-school leaving certificate)
- Let us know if you do not have your school-leaving certificate yet. You can still complete the late registration process.
- your proof of German language proficiency (for school-leaving certificates from a non-German-speaking country).
You will then receive information about your next steps in the admission procedure via e-mail.
