In the master’s programme in Theatre, Film and Media Studies you will deal with theatre, film and media from a cultural studies perspective. The degree programme is research-led, meaning it is oriented to theoretical and analytical questions. The history, aesthetics and theory of the subject areas are equally discussed. Students have the possibility to set their own focus and, if desired, to concentrate on one of the three areas. Having completed a degree programme in Cultural Studies is an important admission requirement. Moreover, experiences and competences in at least one of the three fields are appreciated.
