Religion in Europe (Master)

The English-language Master's degree programme in Religion in Europe at the University of Vienna is aimed at graduates of a BA degree programme who are involved with the phenomenon of religion:

  • in professional contexts (for example in social organisations such as Caritas or Diakonie, commercial companies, international organisations such as the UN, OSCE, cultural institutions and museums, media and journalism, authorities and political institutions, in the management of religious communities, in [adult] education)
  • in voluntary social engagement (for example in non-profit organisations, in human rights work)
  • from a personal interest in religious and spiritual issues.

This Master's degree programme expands religion-related skills in the aforementioned professional fields and in possible individual life contexts or personal commitments.
