Your steps in the admission procedure
Step 1: Apply for admission in u:space
Log into u:spae and choose your degree programme at Studies > Apply for Admission. Documents that were already confirmed by the Admission Office (status: "confirmed") do not have to be uploaded again. Upload any proofs prescribed in the curriculum as individual PDF files (e.g. proof of English language proficiency). Afterwards choose "Submit Application".
As soon as the status of your application is "submitted" in u:space at "My applications", the Admission Office can process your application.
Step 2: Wait for the admission letter
After you have applied for admission, you have to wait for your admission letter. This takes several weeks. The Admission Office reviews your documents, the selection committee allocates the study places. In the beginning/middle of June you will be informed if you receive a study place and may be admitted. You will receive your admission letter via e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided in u:space. You can also find it in u:space > Personal matters > My documents.
Step 3: Admission to the degree programme
The admission letter is only valid for the winter semester you have applied for and the following summer semester. We recommend starting your studies in the winter semester. Having received the admission letter does not mean that you are already admitted to the degree programme, but rather that an admission to the degree programme you have applied for is possible.
To complete the admission procedure, please message us via the Servicedesk within the admission period of the semester you have applied for or the following semester. You will receive an e-mail with further information.
It is in your own best interest to complete the admission procedure as early as possible, so you do not miss any registration deadlines for courses.
